CDAC Recruitment 2026: 951 project posts open, apply by 26 October

CDAC Recruitment 2026 is now open. The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), the Union government’s advanced computing research body, has invited online applications for 951 contractual posts across its centres. Registration began on Monday, 5 October 2026, and the last date to apply is 26 October 2026, according to the notification reported by Jagran Josh.

CDAC Recruitment 2026: posts on offer

The recruitment drive is being run under advertisement number CORP/JIT/03/2026 and covers project-based roles at several levels. These include Project Associate, Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager, Project Officer and Project Support Staff.

All positions are contractual or tied to specific projects. There is no application fee for candidates from any category.

Centre-level notices on the C-DAC careers portal carry the same timeline. The notice for C-DAC’s Centre in North East (CINE), Guwahati, lists 5 October as the start of online registration and 26 October as the last date, and says interview dates will be communicated to candidates by email only.

Selection process

Applications will first be screened on academic qualifications, experience and eligibility. Depending on the number of applicants and the needs of each role, C-DAC may hold a written test or practical skill test. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for a personal or online interview, followed by verification of original documents.

How to apply

Candidates must apply online. No physical applications will be accepted.

  1. Visit the C-DAC careers portal at careers.cdac.in, also linked from cdac.in.
  2. Browse the advertised vacancies and choose the centre and post.
  3. Register with a mobile number and verify it using a one-time password.
  4. Fill in personal details, academic qualifications and relevant work experience.
  5. Upload a passport-size photograph in JPG format, up to 400 KB, and a resume in PDF format, up to 500 KB.
  6. Review the form, submit it and keep a copy for reference.

Eligibility conditions differ from post to post, so applicants should read the detailed advertisement for their chosen role before applying. Candidates are advised to apply early to avoid technical problems close to the deadline.
