Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on 15 October 2026 and congratulated him on completing 25 years in public life. During the same visit he met Union ministers C R Patil and Pralhad Joshi on water, energy, education and jobs for Rajasthan, according to the Chief Minister’s Office.

What Bhajanlal Sharma told PM Modi
According to the state’s DIPR release, Sharma said the Prime Minister’s dedication to serving the nation is a source of inspiration for everyone. He said Rajasthan’s development has gained fresh momentum under Modi’s guidance, with work on infrastructure, investment and water management steering the state towards becoming developed by 2047. He added that the ‘double-engine’ government works with public welfare and good governance as its only goals. Devdiscourse and News18 Hindi also reported the meeting. LokVox reported that the two met for about 20 minutes at the Prime Minister’s residence and described it as a courtesy call, coming a day after the state cabinet passed a resolution praising Modi’s 25 years as head of government. That resolution counted his 13 years as Gujarat Chief Minister from 7 October 2001 and his three terms as Prime Minister.
