IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: 335 seats in Western Region, apply by 4 November

IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 has opened for 335 seats. Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s Marketing Division, Western Region, began taking online applications on Monday, 5 October 2026, for Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentice posts. The last date to apply is 4 November 2026, at 5 pm, The Times of India reported.

IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: vacancies and locations

The recruitment is being held under Advertisement No. IOCL/MKTG/WR/APPR/2026-27. The seats are spread across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Chhattisgarh, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Selected candidates will undergo 12 months of apprenticeship training.

The 335 seats are split as follows:

  • Technician Apprentice: 99
  • Trade Apprentice: 40
  • Graduate Apprentice: 174
  • Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator): 22

Eligibility

Technician Apprentice applicants need a three-year diploma in the relevant engineering discipline with at least 50 per cent marks, or 45 per cent for SC, ST and PwBD candidates. Trade Apprentice candidates need to have passed Class 10 along with a two-year full-time ITI course in the relevant trade.

Graduate Apprentice applicants need a regular full-time BA, BCom, BSc or BBA degree with at least 50 per cent marks, or 45 per cent for SC, ST and PwBD candidates. Data Entry Operator apprentices need a Class 12 pass or a Domestic Data Entry Operator skill certificate.

Applicants must be between 18 and 24 years old as on 30 September 2026, with age relaxation as per rules. There is no application fee for any category.

How to apply

The portal depends on the qualification:

  1. ITI and Data Entry Operator applicants register on the NAPS portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).
  2. Diploma and graduate applicants register on the NATS portal (nats.education.gov.in).
  3. Complete the profile, then search for the IOCL Marketing Division Western Region opportunity. The Establishment IDs are NATS-WMHMCC000053 and NAPS-E01172700332.
  4. Select the correct trade or discipline code, apply and check all details before submitting.

Selection

Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from the percentage of marks in the required qualification. Shortlisted candidates will then go through document verification and a pre-engagement medical fitness test.
