Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam: The Conclusion is headed for one of 2026’s biggest Hindi openings after blistering advance bookings on 1 October, a day before its Gandhi Jayanti release. Trade trackers put Day-1 advances near ₹19.7 crore from more than five lakh tickets, with the extended weekend advance gross around ₹36–38 crore including blocked seats. Early estimates now float a possible ₹50 crore nett India opening — second only to Dhurandhar 2 this year.
NCR leads as overseas screens pile on
Delhi-NCR is pacing the domestic chart with roughly ₹7.8 crore already in the till, while Bengaluru shows multiple fast-filling shows. Mumbai and Kolkata are slower but rising. Overseas pre-sales have crossed ₹3 crore for Day 1 and ₹5 crore for the weekend across a wide release topping 1,300 screens in about 60 countries — billed as Devgn’s biggest international footprint.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the finale reunites Tabu, Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta with Devgn’s Vijay Salgaonkar, adding Jaideep Ahlawat to the cat-and-mouse core. Solo holiday release status removes a direct big-studio clash, though Singham Again’s ₹43.5 crore nett Day-1 still looms as Devgn’s personal benchmark.
Can it cross the ₹600 crore chatter?
Optimistic early reviewers have floated a ₹600 crore-plus lifetime, but that will need hold after the holiday weekend. Occupancy in multiplex evening shows will tell whether advance heat converts to final collections rather than empty blocked seats. Reporting: India Today.
What to watch on Friday morning
Overseas Friday gross and NCR evening occupancy remain the clearest early signals for whether the ₹50 crore Day-1 talk holds once the first shows lock numbers. Morning occupancy in single-screen belts outside metros will be another tell for whether the franchise still travels beyond multiplex strongholds.
