Tu Hai Meri Kiran trailer out: Sonakshi and Zaheer turn one-sided love into a thriller

By /

The makers of Tu Hai Meri Kiran released the film’s trailer on Tuesday, 6 October 2026, presenting Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal in a psychological thriller about one-sided love that turns into obsession. Written and directed by Karan Rawal and produced by Vishal Rana under Echelon Productions, the film opens in cinemas on 23 October.

What the Tu Hai Meri Kiran trailer shows

Sonakshi plays Kiran and Zaheer plays Samar, who is convinced the two share a special bond. Kiran wants nothing to do with him and asks him to leave her alone and stop calling, but Samar refuses to let go. As the trailer unfolds, strange incidents leave Kiran, and the viewer, unsure of what is real, with hints that someone may be manipulating her. It ends on an ominous note, with Samar promising to take care of an injured, unconscious Kiran “forever”.

Sonakshi calls it ‘a very different space’

In a statement, Sonakshi said the film took her into “a very different space” and that she was intrigued by its “unsettling world”, in which an emotion slowly becomes something “far more intense and consuming”. She said her character goes through an unusual journey with many layers, and that the film keeps viewers questioning the reality on screen.

Zaheer said he was drawn to the way the story explores one-sided love and how an intense emotion “can take an unexpected turn”. He added that working with Sonakshi made the experience more special. Rana said the film deals with “one-sided love, obsession and the dangerous consequences that can follow”.

Mystery kept under wraps

Rawal said he wanted to show how one-sided love can gradually take an unexpected turn and how far someone can go when consumed by their feelings. He described the project as a thriller in which the audience keeps asking what is real and what lies beneath the surface.

True to that idea, the trailer reveals the central relationship but keeps the main twist hidden, leaving the full story of Kiran and Samar for the big screen later this month.
