The Sajid Khan comedy that Akshay Kumar is set to lead has added R. Madhavan, Disha Patani and Shriya Saran, Bollywood Hungama reported on Sunday, 4 October 2026. The untitled film, produced by Ektaa R. Kapoor, is being planned as an out-and-out comedy.
Madhavan and Kumar last faced each other as rivals in the 2025 courtroom drama Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh. This time they are in a comedy. Patani and Saran are to play the romantic leads. The report said the story turns on middle-aged men and follows a comedy-of-errors shape, and that the production is being mounted on a large scale.

When the Sajid Khan comedy is likely to shoot
The film is expected to go on floors in London by the end of 2026 or early 2027, with that London schedule treated as a major part of the shoot. Kumar is expected to start after he finishes Samuk, Kanishk Varma’s alien survival thriller. The comedy is planned as a start-to-finish schedule rather than a series of broken blocks.
Khan and Kumar have worked together before, on Heyy Babyy, Housefull and Housefull 2. Before this comedy, Khan is to finish Hero Ki Horrorine, starring Yashvardhan Ahuja and Nitanshi Goel. Sunday’s report did not give a title, a release date or a confirmed start day, only the cast additions and the London window. No one from the production issued an on-record confirmation in the report itself.
