Adi Bazaar Jaipur opens at KK Square Mall: TRIFED tribal crafts fair runs till 20 October

Adi Bazaar Jaipur, a fair of tribal crafts, culture, food and enterprise, opened at KK Square Mall in C-Scheme on 13 October and runs until 20 October 2026. It is organised by TRIFED, the tribal marketing body under the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs, the state’s information department said.

TRIFED fair opens in C-Scheme

Deepesh Sharma, general secretary of the Rajasthan High Court Bar Association, cut the ribbon on Tuesday. He said the aim of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘vocal for local’ push and the Van Dhan Yojana is to make tribal communities self-reliant, and that TRIFED set up the bazaar so tribal people get a platform for their forest and craft products. Hindusthan Samachar and Khaskhabar also reported the opening.

Tribal handicrafts and Van Dhan products on sale

TRIFED regional manager Monika Choudhary said the bazaar gives tribal artisans and craftspeople a place to sell their Van Dhan and other products directly. Stalls offer handicrafts, handloom textiles and other tribal goods, local reports said. Van Dhan products are forest-based items gathered and processed by tribal self-help groups, such as honey, spices and herbal goods. The fair is timed for the festive buying season ahead of Diwali. Shoppers can also see live demonstrations and buy directly from the makers at several stalls.

Adi Bazaar Jaipur dates, venue and why it matters

The bazaar is open every day until 20 October at KK Square Mall, C-Scheme, in central Jaipur. Entry details were not separately announced. For many tribal artisans, a city fair like this is one of the few chances to sell directly to urban buyers without middlemen. TRIFED runs similar Adi Bazaars in other cities through the year as part of its marketing support for tribal producers.
