The Drishyam 3 box office opening stands at ₹66.75 crore net in India, according to Sacnilk figures cited by The Economic Times on Saturday. The film, released on Friday, 2 October, which was Gandhi Jayanti, played 15,759 shows. India gross was about ₹80.10 crore. Overseas added about ₹15 crore, for a worldwide gross of about ₹95.10 crore.
How the Drishyam 3 box office start compares
Trade desks called it the biggest opening of Ajay Devgn’s career and the second-biggest Hindi opening of 2026. The Economic Times also reported it ahead of the opening-day nets it listed for Dhurandhar and for Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. Hindustan Times, using a worldwide figure near ₹95 crore, described the day as just short of ₹100 crore and among the highest Hindi starts on record. Those are trade comparisons, not a studio statement.
Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is directed by Abhishek Pathak and stars Devgn with Tabu and Jaideep Ahlawat. It is billed as the last film in the Hindi series. A national holiday, a known title and advance booking did the work that a regular Friday often cannot. Early word of mouth was positive, which is what exhibitors will test on Saturday, when the holiday audience is gone.
What Saturday will actually prove
An opening day inflated by Gandhi Jayanti can fade once offices reopen. The Drishyam 3 box office number that matters next is the Saturday hold, not another recut of Friday’s 66.75. If the drop is modest, the franchise ending has a long run. If it is sharp, Friday will stand as a holiday spike.
Until evening collections land, the verified opening is the Sacnilk set: ₹66.75 crore net at home, about ₹95.10 crore worldwide, from 15,759 shows.
